I have joined the ranks of mothers who have all of their children in school all day. The whole 6 hours. Oh my am I old. However it is a great feeling. I love that my kids are growing up. That is what they are to do. Even if that means I am older than dirt. Last Thursday it was back to school night for the girls. They found out who their teachers are going to be. Sara who is in 5th grade this year has Miss Skinner. She is an awesome teacher. I loved talking with her and knowing that she already likes Sara is a huge help for us both. Makhail was lucky enough to get Miss Edwards. She is so full of life and you can tell that she loves what she does. We came home and all is well. Lets take it to Sunday night. The girls get their fathers blessing for the next year of school. After it was all done, Chris said that next year Sara will have to sit on a shorter chair that she is getting to tall for the bar stools. Man can this really be happening. So today was the first day to school. We walked with our great friends the Tuckers. They are the best walking buddies. We got their and we dropped off Makhail first. I took her picture in front of her door and then she was off. Not even a hug for a high five. As Sara and I walked to her class she kept saying she didn't want me to take her picture. I said that is what we do. She finally gave a quick smile and then it was off to her desk. What great kids I have. They are ready for a wonderful year, and then their is me. What to do what to do..................

I bet that first day you just sat around bored, but by day 2, I'm sure you found something to do :) Welcome to the world of AKIS, All Kids In School. It's a good one. But there are days when I just miss them and the times we spent together before they started school. Good times... good times. If you really can't figure out what to do, just have another one! Then you won't even have to think about :)
