Yesterday at around 1:00am Sara woke up screaming. It scared me to death. She was crying and holding her ear. It was way to early for my brain to process what was really going on. She never went back to sleep. I was very short with her and kept telling her to go back to bed and sleep. I was so tired. And if mama ain't happy nobodies happy. Finally it was time to get up at 6:45am. She was still in so much pain. I called the Dr. Office and they could see her at 2:20pm. She finally fell asleep and slept until 1:00pm I took her to the Dr. and come to find out that her ear was so infected that it almost had burst. This girl is such a trooper. We got her the prescriptions and last night she slept all through the night. I love modern medicine. She will be back at school tomorrow. That will be a blessing to me.

This happened to Stevie a few months ago. He woke up crying and saying his head hurt really bad. I freaked out because I didn't even think it could be his ears. Well, I took him in that day and it turned out he had double ear infection. Crazy! Glad that Sara is feeling better!
Hi Trisha - I'm so sorry about Sara. Lauren had that happen too, only hers did burst. We woke up in the middle of the night to screaming and a blood-covered pillow. I hope she is feeling better today! Also, love the picture...is that at legoland?
