Summer Will Begin

Makhail, Adela, Justyne
Sara, Sierra, Tiffanie

May 30 was the last day of school. Makhail finished Kindergarten and Sara finished 4th grade. Boy am I old. It was a great year. Sara started at Hillcrest elementary and in October we moved her to a charter school. It is a terrific school however it just didn't work for her. So in February we moved her back to Hillcrest. She was able to be in the same class with Mrs. Richins as her great teacher. Sara did so well, she finished with all A's and B's. We are so proud of her. She is looking forward to attending a reading summer school program, for the month of June at her school. After that she will be heading off to Georgia to spend 5 weeks with her grandparents. She is turning into such a young woman who is very independent. We will miss her but she will have a great time. Makhail had the best teacher ever. Mrs. Headman was who we wanted her to have and it was so. Makhail started out as a shy kid who now will make new friends on her own. She has learned so much she passed all of her lessons with 92% or better. She stayed at Hillcrest the whole year and enjoyed it a lot. We are not to sure what she will be doing this summer, but I am sure it will be full of excitement. She is always wanting to go go go. As for me, I will have to start a summer schedule and I am not sure what that is going to be yet. I know that I will not have my parents to call and talk to and I wont be going out to California since they will be on their mission. But I am sure with all my friends around here we will be finding a lot to do. I just have to keep my options open. Have a great summer.
