Okay, it has taken a while for me to have the time to sit down and write this one. Life has been so crazy. On Wednesday the 18th I was able to meet my parents for lunch with Dr. Norm Chalburg and Joanne Chalburg. It was great to see them. They are wonderful friends of my parents and he was my Doctor when I was a kid. We had a quick lunch but the conversations were wonderful. I was given my parents laundry and asked to have it back to them that night. What a wonderful opportunity to serve my parents. That doesn't happen to often. On Thursday the 19th it seemed to be one very slow day. We were waiting for a call from my parents to come to the MTC for the final Good-Bye. It was to be at 7:45pm. However the call didn't come until 7:50pm. We hopped in the car and made a quick stop at Baskin Robbins, you know when it is a hard thing that you have to do ice cream really hits the spot. So we showed up and we visited and took pictures. We were given a suit case that is filled with things that they really didn't need to take. (Or it is stuff that had to be left behind due to the shoe ratio) We are happy to help. My sister is planning on coming out for Thanksgiving and Christmas and is to take this suit case home. Who knows what will really happen with it. Know it is time to say Good-Bye. It was very heart warming to have hugs from my parents that were felt all the way to my soul. I will miss them and I pray for them daily. They are doing the right thing. They said yes a very long time ago. They will have wonderful experiences and I look forward to hearing all about them. I was able to hold in the tears until we were in the car and about out of the MTC drive way, however it was just one tear and then the wonderful feeling of love and appreciation took over and a huge smile took the place of the frown.
