Okay what a big day. Sara and I woke up around 3:30am this morning. We had to get ready for the day. We left the house at 4:27am and were on our way. We made it to the airport in record time and the parking couldn't have been any closer. We checked in and then it was off to the gate. After a quick stop for something to eat, we made it to the right gate. We checked her in and then we waited. Just as they should have been boarding her plane they had to make a gate change. We all walked to the new gate number and then it was right on to the plane. We both got a little misty in the eyes, but managed to hold it in. As they took her on to the plane a sense of sorrow and excitement came over me. I had to wait until the plane took off from the gate, which seemed to take an extra long time. As it left I said a silent prayer that all would be well with her. She is off to Georgia to visit with her grandparents and cousins. She is looking forward to this adventure. We will miss her, but are excited for the things that she will learn.

Disneyland was sure fun this year, you know?! It is a nice memory to see them in pics...I cant believe how fast they grow up...I miss her too! But, what a big girl adventure! love you!
