We were able to have two Fathers Days. On Saturday Chris and I went to the MTC to pick up my parents and then it was off to the Temple. What a great experience that was. To share with them maybe their last time in a Temple for 23 months. The spirit was so great. We then went out to lunch to what used to be called Beto's. It is one of my Dad's favorite places to eat. It was fun to just visit. We then did a few errands for their mission things and then it was time to let the babysitter go home. We hung out at the house and I had made a dinner that my dad asked for. It was lasagna, green salad, fruit salad, garlic bread and for dessert I made this really wonderful lemon cake with pudding on the bottom. It was a ton of fun. After we ate dinner we played Scene it Disney with the girls for about 40 min. and then it was time for a rematch at had and foot. Finally Chris and I won. It was a lot of fun. Now it was about 9:30pm and the girls and I plus grandma and grandpa went to see the fireworks at Orem City Fest. They were great. I love to spend time with my family. And having this time with my parents is the best. Since we live away from them it is nice to have a few days with them. Since the rest of my family all live in the same town. On Sunday we had our second Fathers Day. This one was for Chris. We spent the morning just being together. It was off to church at 1:00pm. The choir had a wonderful presentation of Oh My Father. After church we came home and it was time for the girls to give their dad their gifts. He got 2 new shirts and some candy. I cooked his choice of dinner which was, hamburgers, homemade fries, and his moms backed beans. For dessert I made a Cherry Pie. What a fun day. We then spent more time together playing games. What a wonderful time we all had.
