We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo....

What a fun day. We woke up and we didn't hurry real fast but we went to the zoo. We did this a few summers back when the weather was scorching. That was a bad idea. However this year was perfect. It was in the 80's with a little breeze. Perfect. The first thing that we did was ride the little train. It was one thing that I did and don't need to do again. We even got stuck on the littlest incline. How sad is that. But the girls loved it.

Next we walked around. We saw almost all of the exhibits. What a neat thing to do. I don't know if any of you have seen the commercial with the family on a trip with a teenage daughter and how they are talking about her as if she isan exhibit and how they are looking to see if she is having a good time and then she finally smiles. Well we have reached this point with our lovely Sara. It made us laugh. It was a great day.

Makhail spent most of the time asking when we could see the giraffes. If you didn't know this is her favorite animal. She even did a report on them in school. We finally made it to see them and she had a blast. Some people were able to pet one of them, she was trying to get us to stay longer so that she could do the same but we had to move on. What a brave girl.
It is all about the memories.
What will be next.
