Happy Mother's Day

What a glorious day. I was able to have a brief but meaningful call with my mother. How wonderful it is to have someone who loves you unconditionally. Not to mention for ever. My mother and father came looking for me and what a blessing that has been in my life. I do want to thank my natural mother for the wonderful blessing she gave to me, the blessing of life and to be sent to a wonderful family to love, teach and raise me in the gospel. I love my mother. She stuck with me through all the rough times and that has made this journey wonderful. I would never wanted to have done this without her. Thank you for all that you have given me. Most of all thank you for the terrific upbringing and most of all the love. This fire pit was the gift from my wonderful husband. We are enjoying smores after dinner. What a wonderful gift and a terrific family I have. My kids worked really hard on being good for the day. It has been good. I have enjoyed my mother's day and look forward to next year.

Happy Mother's day!! Looks like you had a fun day. We also have a fun backyard fire pit that we love(it's one of the only reasons we go into our tiny strip of land called a backyard. thanks again!)

Happy Mother's Day from windy-rainy Siberia. I have been slow to catch up on your blog, but a I am enjoying the maturity I'm seeing and the fun you are having in between the episodes of growing kids. You are doing great as a mom, as a wife, and as a daughter. Give yourself credit for the good parts of each day and let the other stuff go. You are doing just fine!

I love you and I'm righteously, humbly proud of what you have become; and are still becoming. Have fun with your kids, be kind to your husband, and love yourself. You deserve it.
Love
Elder Doug

Trisha, Thanks for all of your sweet comments and memories. I love them and you. Are you impressed that I can comment? Of course, Dad helped me.
